Weaving with Silver Creek

Silver Creek Basket Guild meets on the 1st Saturday of each month, unless it's a holiday weekend we meet on the 2nd Saturday. September through June at 9:00 a.m. at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon, Wisconsin.

Annual dues are $25

The membership is open to experienced basket weavers
(who understand the terminology, and are able to independently weave a round and a square base).

Minutes of the January 10th Meeting

Twelve members braved the blustery weather to attend guild on January 10th. Marlene reported we have a $558.18 balance in our account. Several members have still not paid their dues and should do so as soon as possible.

Several beautiful baskets and many little woven booties were shown and shared.

The membership list was updated and a new list will be distributed next month.

The listing of our guild on various websites was discussed. Several have been found that list contacts that are no longer members. It was decided to list the meeting time and place but no contact name. If you find a website with an old contact on it let me know. Our blog site will remain available to only those who know the web address.

Judy lead the weaving of the "Kisses" basket. A big thank you to Judy for ordering the bases and handles for such a cute little basket.
