Weaving with Silver Creek

Silver Creek Basket Guild meets on the 1st Saturday of each month, unless it's a holiday weekend we meet on the 2nd Saturday. September through June at 9:00 a.m. at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon, Wisconsin.

Annual dues are $25

The membership is open to experienced basket weavers
(who understand the terminology, and are able to independently weave a round and a square base).

Posting on the Blog

When I started this blog I saw blogging as a way to share information. I hoped that anyone in our guild who had computer access might want to post. My family blog has 11 people posting! It is like reading a family newsletter.

I was able to email instructions to Marlene and I am very pleased when I see a post from her. But, actually showing how to post would be an easier way to learn blogging.

As I was driving home last night I realized that I could just bring my laptop to the Ripon Library when we have a workshop. I know we are there to weave, but in 15 minutes I could show anyone; how to sign-in, post, add links and pictures and log out.

You all have favorite websites, weaving information and tips, information about workshops - things that could be added to the blog in just minutes. The blog could truly become THE GUILDS BLOG and not just one where Darleen posts stuff.
