JoAnn and her Nesting Shaker Baskets

I know several of you have been to JoAnn's house and seen the Nesting Shaker Baskets that JoAnn has been completing over SIX years at Martha Wetherbee's FIVE Day Long Workshops in Shawano.

JoAnn just completed the two smallest ones; baskets eight and nine. Yes, it is a set of NINE NESTING Shaker Baskets. JoAnn said the Martha is going to destroy the molds so no more can be woven and that the set is now valued at $10,000.
( Don would like to sell them but that is another story. I would be afraid to have them sit out in the open. If that fire detector went off, I would be reaching for those baskets first)Don emailed me to say that that Martha Wetherbee told the group that if she could hand out a plaque for "Most Improved Basketweaver" from last year to this, JoAnn would get it. What a honor JoAnn!

They are just magnificent, JoAnn.
