Weaving with Silver Creek

Silver Creek Basket Guild meets on the 1st Saturday of each month, unless it's a holiday weekend we meet on the 2nd Saturday. September through June at 9:00 a.m. at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon, Wisconsin.

Annual dues are $25

The membership is open to experienced basket weavers
(who understand the terminology, and are able to independently weave a round and a square base).

cracker basket



Sue A's "cracker Basket."..Project for Oct. Meeting

Materials:
3/8"FF spokes and weavers...Cut 5 @ 22"
1/4" FF fillers and weavers...cut 4 fillers @ 14"
Your choice..11/64", 3/16", or 1/4" natural or dyed for weaving rows.
3/8"FO or 3/8" FF for rims
#1or#2 seagrass
Also cut 11 spokes of 3/8 FF @ 12 & 1/2"
@ 2 1/2" x 3" bushel basket handles  Sue is ordering these so get thru to her asap if you plan on joining us
Base will measure approximately 2& 3/4" x 9 & 3/4"
