Weaving with Silver Creek

Silver Creek Basket Guild meets on the 1st Saturday of each month, unless it's a holiday weekend we meet on the 2nd Saturday. September through June at 9:00 a.m. at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon, Wisconsin.

Annual dues are $25

The membership is open to experienced basket weavers
(who understand the terminology, and are able to independently weave a round and a square base).

Materials for December Basket


REMEMBER: The December Meeting starts at 5:30. Bring a dish to pass and your weaving "White Elephant". 
Pocket Basket Materials
With Wire Christmas Tree or Holly Wire Hanger

Finished size 8" wide x 1" deep x 8" high ( without hanger)
Materials:
⅞" Flat
½" Flat,  Dyed and Natural ( red, green and natural) 
1" Natural Ash Strip
#2 Round Reed
3/16 or ¼" Flat for lashing
Wire Hanger 
(JoAnn will be bringing wire hangers. 
BRING $3.00 apiece if you want one. )


 To Prepare:
Cut 1 - ⅞" at 28" 
Cut 7 - ½" at 23"
