Here's the recipe for the Pretzel Salad that Marty brought.
Pretzel Salad
1/2 c. melted butter 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. crushed pretzels
Mix these ingredients together and bake for 15 minutes at 350. Cool and break into pieces.
1 pkg cream cheese 1/2 c. sugar
16 oz. Cool Whip 1 large can crushed pineapple well drained
1 jar chopped and drained maraschino cherries (optional)
1 small can mandarin oranges (optional)
Beat the cream cheese and sugar till light and fluffy stir in the cool whip. Add the fruit that your family likes. If you know the the salad will be eaten right away, you could mix the pretzels into the salad saving some for a garnish on the top but I think it's better to add when you eat.
