Weaving with Silver Creek

Silver Creek Basket Guild meets on the 1st Saturday of each month, unless it's a holiday weekend we meet on the 2nd Saturday. September through June at 9:00 a.m. at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon, Wisconsin.

Annual dues are $25

The membership is open to experienced basket weavers
(who understand the terminology, and are able to independently weave a round and a square base).

"New" Wooden Base Basket Site

There was a basket on my facebook group that caught my eye. Woven by Lisa Ceravalo at the Anne Bowers' Studio, I found it intriguing for a basket to have several wooden spokes attached to the wooden base. What a nice sturdy basket!
Although some of you may already be familiar with the company, though the comments I discovered Fleix Family Baskets in Ohio. They have some interesting wooden items. I will add their link to the links at right. Click HERE to go to their website now.
