Weaving with Silver Creek

Silver Creek Basket Guild meets on the 1st Saturday of each month, unless it's a holiday weekend we meet on the 2nd Saturday. September through June at 9:00 a.m. at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon, Wisconsin.

Annual dues are $25

The membership is open to experienced basket weavers
(who understand the terminology, and are able to independently weave a round and a square base).

2008 Lake County Basket Fest

Marlene mentioned the Basket Fest in Brookfield on May 2nd, 3rd & 4th and I finally took time today to look at their brochure. Go to the guild's website

and click "2008 Basket Fest Brochure" to download the entire brochure. The workshops are probably already filled but the baskets are beautiful, some unusual and worth taking a look at. It's fun to go to Basket Fest just for the shopping deals from the vendors!
