Weaving with Silver Creek

Silver Creek Basket Guild meets on the 1st Saturday of each month, unless it's a holiday weekend we meet on the 2nd Saturday. September through June at 9:00 a.m. at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon, Wisconsin.

Annual dues are $25

The membership is open to experienced basket weavers
(who understand the terminology, and are able to independently weave a round and a square base).

Shirley

I found other pictures of Shirley. Look under Meeting October 2008. We had a lot of fun weaving and taking classes together. She was a good friend. Her last words to me at our December meeting were, "Sign me up for the Green Lake class." There were several of her beautiful baskets displayed at her service. Her husband commented to me that she had some unfinished baskets and I told him any of the guild members would gladly finish them for the family. Her daughter Linda said she would talk with Judy. Life changes in a matter of minutes. Hold close those who are dear to you.
