Guild Guidelines
Dawn asked if there were any questions regarding the revised guidelines. Sara made a motion to approve the new guidelines as stated. Second by Stephanie. Motion carried by approval from all members in attendance and one absentee vote from Judy relayed by Stephanie.
Saturday Weave
Members discussed a Saturday Weave at the Ripon Library to weave Northwoods Bushel on April 25th. The guild will purchase supplies and those members weaving will reimburse the guild. JoAnn will be obtaining the patterns. Marlene will contact the Library to see if Saturday, April 25th is available. A sign up sheet will be passed around at the April 2nd meeting.
New Business
Marty will be leading Amish Tray, a twill basket by Lyn Siler, for the April 2nd meeting. A complete material list will follow shortly but FOUR colors (or 3 colors and natural) of 3/16” flat oval are needed. 11/64” flat oval or 1/4” flat oval will also work. JoAnn reminded people reed must be cut a great deal longer than Siler states in her book for the basket.

Darleen suggested guild members donate Lyn Siler’s book A Basketmakers Odyssey to the Green Lake Library in memory of Shirley. Members felt this was a good idea and Marlene will discuss this with the library.
Show and Share
JoAnn is back for her “month in basket weaving heaven” and had many amazing baskets to show us. Don is sending a picture which will be posted on the blog shortly. Sue showed the Pantry Basket we will weave in the fall. Several other guild members had baskets to show .
Most members finished or came close to finishing their Small Cristi. A few bases are still available.
Thanks to Dawn for leading.
