Weaving with Silver Creek

Silver Creek Basket Guild meets on the 1st Saturday of each month, unless it's a holiday weekend we meet on the 2nd Saturday. September through June at 9:00 a.m. at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon, Wisconsin.

Annual dues are $25

The membership is open to experienced basket weavers
(who understand the terminology, and are able to independently weave a round and a square base).

A few reminders about Saturday.....



Are you ready to weave?

Don't forget this Saturday, April 25th we will be weaving the
Northwoods Bushel Basket at the Ripon Public Library.

The basement of the library is being used all day Friday so we will be setting up the room to weave Saturday morning at 9:00AM. Your help will be greatly appreciated if you can;
  1. Help Dawn carry in materials
  2. Help to arrange tables and chairs in the room itself

Along with your normal weaving tools don't forget to bring a needle with a large eye so you can lash the rim with the waxed linen.



We will continue weaving until 3:30 which then leaves 30 minutes for clean up before the library closes. Lets hope for 21 finished baskets by the end of the day!
