Weaving with Silver Creek

Silver Creek Basket Guild meets on the 1st Saturday of each month, unless it's a holiday weekend we meet on the 2nd Saturday. September through June at 9:00 a.m. at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon, Wisconsin.

Annual dues are $25

The membership is open to experienced basket weavers
(who understand the terminology, and are able to independently weave a round and a square base).

Materials Needed for January 7th, 2010

Here are the materials needed for the January Project....

1/4" flat
3/8" flat
1/2" flat
5/8" flat
#2 round one piece to twine around base
1/2" flat oval for rim
11/64" lasher

Of the 5/8 you will need 13 pieces that are very flexible for the curls AND you will need enough for 7 rows in the basket.

Stephanie has extra reed in case someone doesn't have what they need.
