Minutes October 7, 2010

Pat called meeting to order at 6:35.  There were no guests in attendance. Secretary’s e-mail accepted.  Pat reported $592.90 in the treasury.  

We are good to go on our all-day weave at the Ripon Library on Oct. 16.  Time is 9:30 until 3 p.m. with Jo Ann leading.  

Pat reported that Messiah has no conflict with our Meeting on Dec. 9. Several lovely baskets were donated to Messiah along with several checks and cash donations.  They are having their Chili supper on Thursday Oct. 14, from 11:30 -1:30 and 4:30 – 6:30.  It was suggested that as many of us as possible plan to attend and have supper together. Cost is $7.00 per person.  

We plan on making the “Victorian Wicker Heart” basket at the Nov. meeting with Sue A. leading. The supplies you will need are:

 #3 RR….3 @ 48” spokes ( #4 on template)

            15 @ 32” spokes (# 1 & 3 on template)

 #2 RR 3 very long weavers. 
(if you bring plenty of # 2 and # 3, you’ll be fine.)  

We had 12 members attending and there were 2 show and tell baskets.  Sara’s was by Mary Skillings. No new business.  Work was continued on our “Puffed Out” baskets.
