Weaving with Silver Creek

Silver Creek Basket Guild meets on the 1st Saturday of each month, unless it's a holiday weekend we meet on the 2nd Saturday. September through June at 9:00 a.m. at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon, Wisconsin.

Annual dues are $25

The membership is open to experienced basket weavers
(who understand the terminology, and are able to independently weave a round and a square base).

Guild minutes June 7, 2012
Marty opened meeting right at 6pm. Treasurer reports a balance of $360.42. Ruth A was back and thanked everyone for sending a plant when she had her surgery. It was suggested that we sign up now for leadership for the fall meetings. The list to follow: Sept. .Mary J.. Oct. .Sue A, Nov. Judy S., Dec. UFO ??? Jan.. Jo Ann L. Feb. Sara , Mar..(still open), April.. Marty T , May and June still awaiting a volunteer. There was only one “show and tell” : Pat W brought her Hickory Hollows finished basket… !6 members present. Meeting adjourned at 6:06pm (Jo Ann/ Sue) and all had a bite from the pot luck and then got to work on our Kitchen counter basket with Marlene leading. Trust we’ll see everyone back in September.
