Weaving with Silver Creek

Silver Creek Basket Guild meets on the 1st Saturday of each month, unless it's a holiday weekend we meet on the 2nd Saturday. September through June at 9:00 a.m. at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon, Wisconsin.

Annual dues are $25

The membership is open to experienced basket weavers
(who understand the terminology, and are able to independently weave a round and a square base).

Nov.1st minutes

Guild minutes Nov. 1st, 2012:
Marty called meeting to order at 6:05. 15 members in attendance.  No treasurers report??? We had a note from Messiah thanking us for the baskets and other donations made for their fundraiser.
Saturday's all day weave set up at the Ripon Library.  The cost of the Tall Storage basket is $25.50. Judy leading. We planned a potluck for lunches.
Marty apologized for the misunderstanding re the blog.  Sara will continue to post there but Dawn will take over as recording secretary and get minutes to her.
Jo Ann will check with Shirley Mount to see if she could be our teacher sometime in May or June (or even July)We are hoping she will be able to do our spring all day weave.
Meeting adjourned 6:30 (Marlene/Krista.)
It was decided after the meeting that JoAnn will lead us in December with the "Deck the Halls"basket.
JoAnn has ordered base/handles for us so no need to contact her.  Also, I'm assuming we will be having our usual Dec. meeting pot luck so plan to bring some "goodies" and your own beverage if you plan to attend.
