Weaving with Silver Creek

Silver Creek Basket Guild meets on the 1st Saturday of each month, unless it's a holiday weekend we meet on the 2nd Saturday. September through June at 9:00 a.m. at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon, Wisconsin.

Annual dues are $25

The membership is open to experienced basket weavers
(who understand the terminology, and are able to independently weave a round and a square base).

May 1st Materials List

Here is a list of the materials needed for the
May 1 basket, Baker's Basket


Judy has handles and patterns but the following supplies are needed:  

5/8 ff reed (13-40" spokes and 18-29" spokes)
1/2 ff  reed (12-32" spokes) 
1/2 ff for weavers
5/8 fo for inside and outside rims
1/2 fo or 1/2 half round for bottom stabilizers
1/4 fo for lashing
rim filler of your choice
