Minutes from November 2014

November 6, 2014
The November meeting was called to order by Sue with 18 weavers in attendance.  We had three guests, hoping to have them all join.
Old business:  we paid $150.00 for the Saturday weave, eleven guild members attended.  A few of the gourd baskets were at the meeting...very nice.
December 4th will be our pot luck, please bring a dish to pass.  We will be doing the White Elephant again.  Just put you elephant in a plain brown grocery bag.  This is a great time to clean out some items in your stash....
For those interested we will be weaving a reindeer ornament.  The pattern is on line for free.  Either print and bring or there will be some copies available. Click HERE for the link.
Materials are:  3/16" or 1/4" flat flat reed
Cut 3 pieces at 12".   And 2 pieces  at 24".  You could bring thin red ribbon for bow if you like and/or 3mm red ball for Rudolf.  Sara will have samples and lead.
For January Sue will lead the silverware/napkin basket by Finishing Touches.
If guild needs to be canceled due to weather we will be using the same calling tree with Barb E, Ruth, and Krista.

We are still looking for a basket for February and some of the other spring meetings, please bring your ideas along in December.
