NEW BUSINESS
Discussed ideas for our June weave, any
volunteers?
SHOW & TELL
- JoAnn brought in several baskets that she made this winter. She’s very creative with making beautiful baskets and adorning them with different embellishments.
- Barb J. showed off her very pretty Napkin Basket, Japanese style.
We are blessed to have both these
ladies in our guild!
Other members shared the following
websites for us to visit to get our creative juices flowing:
Jill Choate has a website with free
patterns and tutorials: http://www.jchoatebasketry.com/
Another website to visit:
https://www.joannascollections.com/
March’s free pattern is an Easter basket. Krista shared the pattern
for anyone interested.
WARNING: don’t visit
either of these sites unless you have time to browse – so
many outstanding baskets on these sites that you’ll lose all track
of time. Don’t say you weren’t warned.
Meeting was adjourned by 6:40 p.m.
For the remainder of the evening the
guild worked on the Quarter Basket led by Karen.
