December 2017 Angel

Meeting was called to order by our president, Krista @ 6:05 p.m. November's secretary's report was approved without changes.

Old Business

Just a reminder to mark your calendars for the Spring All-Day Weave – Saturday, April 7^th. Josephine Knot Basket. Cost is $48 each, and you must be signed up by the March meeting.

New Business

January meeting will be led by Dawn W. weaving Mema's Easter Basket 

Materials Needed

Williamsburg handle 7” x 12”

5/8” FF spokes

3/8” FF fillers

#2 Round for twining and handles

1/2” weavers

1/4” FO weavers

5/8” FO rim

#3 Round for rim filler

11/64” FO for handle wrap and design

Preparation

Sand Handle Smooth

From 5/8” FF, cut 13 spokes @ 26” for weavers

From 3/8” FF, cut 6 spokes @ 12” for fillers

Mark center of handle and spokes on rough side

• February meeting will be led by Sharon making the Williamsburg Market Basket. Please check if you already have the pattern by Diane Glexner.
• March meeting will be led by Krista, making a Double Wall Twill Tray.
• April meeting will be led by JoAnn, making a Swirl Around basket.

Motion was made @ 6:15 p.m. by Dawn W. to adjourn and Barb J. seconded.

The remainder of the evening the guild worked on Angels, led by Barb J. She was so gracious and generous to gift the kits to everyone that attended. They turned out the cutest, to be used as a table décor or an ornament. Thank you so much Barb!!!
