BUSINESS
October
Fall Weave: Nantucket bell – FINAL sign-up is
June 7th. Ladies, that's the very next meeting and the
last meeting before summer break! Mark Henderson will instruct. He has offered to cut and taper spokes at a cost of $15,
or save $5 and do your own tapering. Mark will furnish the spokes,
mold, bell, cherrywood top and rim. JoAnn is checking on the dates of
October 6, 13, or 20.
Dawn made a motion to increase our dues to $25 as long as we
have a minimum of twenty members (presently, the guild has twenty-one
members). Geri seconded the motion. Dues MUST be collected at the
September/October meetings.
Betty
B. will now have the guild's library of patterns, which are available
with an advance request. The library will be brought in at the June 7th
meeting. You may check out patterns over our summer break, but they
need to be returned at the September 6th meeting.
Motion
was made to adjourn the meeting by Patti with Sue seconding that
motion.
Meeting
was adjourned @ 6:40 p.m.
