September minutes were approved by Krista & Judy.
Annual dues of $25 have been collected. Unpaid dues by November meeting will incur a $5 late fee, equaling $30.
As a courtesy to attendees, please refrain from having side conversations during our meetings.
We have three new members: Therese, Elaine, and Susan L. Please welcome them when you get a chance. Our roster now consists of 18.
It was voted and approved to have our winter meetings on Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. The months are for January thru March. This will enable you to drive to and from in the daylight.
The following is the remainder of 2020/2021's meeting weaves:
October 24, Saturday Weave @ the church from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. - SELF TEACH - Bag lunch. You can bring anything to weave. It will be a fun day that we can physically learn from one another. Clean-up committee is Denise & Geri. Please, everyone clean-up your own work area.
Continue to stay at least six feet apart and wear masks. Wisconsin has seen increasing COVID cases that continue to climb.
November 5 - Santa's Boot Basket - Marty will lead. This pattern was attached to last month's email.
December 3 - BAG LUNCH - Peggy will teach how to make braided leather handles. More information to come regarding supplies. No supplies are needed, except a scissors. Thank you Peggy!
January 7 - Golden Harvest Basket (large or medium sizes) - Krista will need your orders for the bases no later than November's meeting, although you can contact her before the November meeting. This basket has a Gretchen rim.
February 4 - Sampler Tote - JoAnn will talk about ordering the leather handles in December.
March 4 - Finish up on the last two months' baskets.
April 1 - TV Basket - Denise - contact Geri for the base(s), they are $12 each unstained pine. Geri will need this order no later than the November 5 meeting.
When you are furnishing patterns, please add two, one for our minutes book (Geri) and one for our library (Dawn).
