January 9, 2021 Meeting Minutes

Our meeting was called to order by President Denise.

There were eight members present.

The February meeting will be Saturday the 6th and the March meeting will be on Saturday the 6th, both from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. In April, our meetings will go back to Thursdays at 6:00 p.m.

Motion made by Karen to approve the minutes and seconded by Ann.

Officers will be voted for at the June meeting.

A sign-up form will be made up for members to help out during the year for organizing our spring and fall weaves. Jane will be taking care of typing them up.

The February meeting will be to finish up January's Garden basket and the possibility of starting the sampler tote led by JoAnn.

Spring Weave will be self-taught on March, Saturday the 27th from 9:00 to 3:00 at the church. Bring ideas to our next meeting to be reviewed and voted on by project members.

If you need a purchased pattern, you'll need to sign up for the pattern otherwise you won’t get one and we will assume you have it.

March will be the sampler tote by JoAnn, and later rimmed at the April meeting with a different lashing technique.

May will be the TV basket. Please stain your base prior to starting the basket. It will be much easier to have that done before making. Denise has the pattern.

June will be Leather Handles by Peggy. This is also our snack and weave night.
