Silver Creek Basket Guild Meeting Minutes September 3, 2015

Meeting called to order by Krista, President
Treasurer’s Report of $524 [Patti, not present but reported in advance]
The June Minutes were approved by Mary J. and Marty without changes.
Roll Call Attendance taken by Geri, Sr. Secretary.
Those present were: Ruth, Sue, Denise, Barb, Beth, Pat, Mary, Barbara, Sharon, Geri, JoAnn, Krista, Karen
and Marty.
Annual Dues collected $15/person, if you did not pay, please pay Patti at our next meeting.

REMINDER
Saturday Weave, October 10 @ CHURCH 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Potluck – no theme
Diane G. will be leading our Saturday Weave. We voted on the basket choices at our June meeting. The winners were: The Ridge Weave Carrier, Arctic Mist and the Teacher's Tote Basket. You needed to have a check dated October 10, 2015, made out to Diane Gleixner for the amount of your chosen basket. You should have had this to Krista by September 3, to enable Diane to can get the kits put together. If you are interested, contact Krista to see if there is still room available and if it’s not too late to sign up.

OLD BUSINESSOLD WORLD WISCONSIN DONATION – Marty & Marlene
Suggested to weave sometime in the spring [simple donation]
9 x 12 plain – natural color baskets using up the gifted supplies in stock. Dawn will check the hours of Old World for opening in the spring.

NEW BUSINESS Show and Tell
JoAnn - Shell Basket & Cherokee Wheels
Karen - Quarter Basket, Drum Basket & Tool Basket [round basket inside a rectangular basket.
Karen also shared that she started loom weaving and showed off her pretty piece of weaving.

Geri made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Denise, Jr. Secretary, seconded the motion. Meeting was adjourned by 7 p.m.
For the remainder of the evening we worked on the Potato Masher Basket. Fun!
