Merry Christmas

Hope you all have the kind of Christmas that will make some
wonderful memories.

To help you celebrate, I am sharing my most requested recipe!

Minty Hot Chocolate Mix makes a wonderful gift when
tied in a fancy plastic bag inside a nice Christmas or wintery mug.
( well at least a list of school teachers, piano teachers, bus drivers
and even our mailman have acted pleased throughout the years)

Minty Hot Chocolate Mix

2 cups Chocolate Malt Powder, divided
1 Cup Buttermints
( yes, the yellow candy-- do not use the pastel dinner mints.
They carry Buttermints at Piggly Wiggly, sometimes at Wal-Mart)
3 cups non-fat dry milk powder
1 1/2 cup instant hot cocoa mix

In food processor mix 1 cup malt powder with the buttermints.
Pulse the food processor until buttermints are ground fine.
Pour into large bowl, add the other cup of malt powder, dry milk
and cocoa mix. Stir well. Makes 6 3/4 cups mix.

Package up in tightly sealed jars, tins or plastic bags.
Sometimes I throw a few whole buttermints on top "for pretty".
Enclose these directions for serving.
To Serve; mix 1/4 cup mix to 3/4 cup boiling water.

My older daughter also thinks a few spoonfuls are good in plain coffee.
