Bases Available at September Meeting

Sue, JoAnn and I were talking about October's twill basket and we felt it might be best to give you the bases and pattern in September so people could at least get the first 48 spokes secured into the base for October's meeting

So, JoAnn ordered 6" slotted wood bases and will have them available on September 3rd for $3.50 each.

Additional materials needed for October 1st are:
1/4" natural flat oval, for spokes
11/64" natural flat for weavers
#2 dyed for weavers
#1 natural round, for triple twining
3/8" flat for rim row
1/2 " flat oval for rim
seagrass
waxed linen or cane for lasher

Plastic, glass and aluminum bowls will all work as molds for the basket. The bottom of the bowl should be about 6" in diameter. The bowl top should be about 12" in diameter. Really, just about any bowl will work OR you can weave it without a mold at all.
