Weaving with Silver Creek

Silver Creek Basket Guild meets on the 1st Saturday of each month, unless it's a holiday weekend we meet on the 2nd Saturday. September through June at 9:00 a.m. at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon, Wisconsin.

Annual dues are $25

The membership is open to experienced basket weavers
(who understand the terminology, and are able to independently weave a round and a square base).

Fall Weave - October 17

The Fall Weave is all set for Saturday, October 17th at Ripon Public Library

Sue A. will be teaching The Blessing Basket ( 10x17x6 1/2").

Sue has ordered enough 10x14 D handles for everyone.
In addition those attending will need to bring along the following to complete the basket;
1/2" flat for spokes and weavers
7/8" flat also for spokes and weavers,
3/8 " flat for rim row,
1/2 " flat oval
2 long pieces, 1/4" fo or 1/4 " flat,
11/64 for lashing
sea grass
Sue will bring patterns to Oct 1st meeting so you will be able to cut and prepare your spokes for the 17th. If anyone has questions before the meeting on the 1st, Contact Sue A.
