Weaving with Silver Creek

Silver Creek Basket Guild meets on the 1st Saturday of each month, unless it's a holiday weekend we meet on the 2nd Saturday. September through June at 9:00 a.m. at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon, Wisconsin.

Annual dues are $25

The membership is open to experienced basket weavers
(who understand the terminology, and are able to independently weave a round and a square base).

Materials Needed for May 2011 American Flag Basket



JoAnn will be leading the May Patriotic American Flag Basket. Supplies needed are listed below but JoAnn says she will also have everything you need if you don't have the following in your stash.


Supplies needed for May patriotic basket (American Flag basket)
10 x 14 D handle
5/8 ff  9 spokes at 24” needed
¼ “ flat in scarlet
3/8 “ ff in natural
5/8” ff dyed bright Navy
¼” ff dyed bright navy
3/16”flat oval in natural for lasher
