Pat called meeting to order at 6:40.
She reported for Anne that we have $563.62 in the treasury.
There were no guests. 9 members attending.
"Basket Showings"
JoAnn was back from her basket making vacation with all sorts of gorgeous baskets to show us. Pat had a beautiful bushel basket to show and Marty had a lovely airy “Easter basket. Krista was working on “Hannah’s wedding” basket and it is lovely also but a bit complicated patternwise. Dawn had a double walled basket with no rim that was really nice. She says it is an all day weave so we may do that in the fall.
Officers for 2012
We need to talk about new officers for next year. Marty has agreed to be president and Sara will continue as secretary but we need a vise president and a treasurer. We are hoping one of you will step up next time.!!!
Spring Weave
There was discussion about the spring weave and the consensus was that we should try to get an outside leader. Dawn will talk to Marlene about the gal from Washington island??
May and June Basket Projects
Jo Ann will do a patriotic wall basket in May. I’ll include supplies at the end of this but JoAnn says she’ll bring what we need if you do not have. ( Darleen will do as a separate post so it is easier to locate and label) I think Don is to send me a picture of it but it has not been forthcoming at this point. Anne will do a basket for the June meeting.
Guild sent cards to Darleen and Judy who have both had surgery. We will also send a bouquet or plant. So glad to hear Darleen did so well and trust Judy will also. We hope to see more of you at the May meeting. Dawn called for adjournment at 6:56 pm.
