April Minutes:
Sue called meeting to order at 6:05
Treasurer's report:  $535.29 in account. No changes or additions to Secretary report.
Old Business:  Saturday Weave set for April 25, 9:00 at the Ripon Library.  Project is the sock basket, no leader for basket.  Everyone will be on their own for weaving.  It was STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU HAVE YOUR BASE AT LEAST STARTED. It will take quite a bit of time to get the stakes scarfed down to take away bulk in the center of the base. Check the attachments in your e-mail for pattern.  Sue suggested having a salad bar for lunch.  Members signed up for bringing items, contact Sue to see what is still needed.
The project for Old World Wisconsin was brought up for attention.  Dawn will contact them to see what they would want or need.
May basket will be led by Sharon and will be the button basket, check e-mail attachments for a materials list. You will need to make 18 "yo-yos" for button backs.  Cut 2" circles of your choice of fabric, sew a running stitch around the outside of circle and pull to form the yo yo puff.
New Business: June will be our Weave and Feed which is a true potluck,  Krista volunteered to lead the basket.
Election of officers will be held at this meeting.  Up for election will be Vice-president, Treasurer, and Secretary. Krista will automatically become President.
The Saturday Fall Weave was also brought up.  Members will contact some teachers and come back to the May meeting with cost and basket information.
Krista had a beautiful basket for show and tell.  This was her first attempt at weaving a Gretchen border and she did a marvelous job. Congratulations! Thanks to all of you who completed and brought along your Dog Eared baskets from last month.  They all looked fantastic!  I was afraid that they might have all gone in the trash.
Dawn made a motion to adjourn.  Krista seconded.
