February/March 2019 Meeting Minutes

Meeting called to order by President Krista.
Twelve members were present.

Sign up for the Spring Weave May 11, 2019 was done and checks made out to Shirley Mount for that day. Weaving will be from 9:00 to 3:00 and potluck for lunch.

Ann will be leading in April the Double Rim Storage basket. Patterns were handled out and it is a free pattern from Suzanne Moore’s NC Basket Works.

Dawn will be leading in May with the Leather Handled tote from Joanna’s Collection. Handles and patterns were also handed out to those that had signed up for handles. This also is a free pattern, compliments of Joanna and she has a great tutorial on her website showing how to weave the bottom of the basket and staining of. Check it out.

June meeting will be our annual Potluck and the making of Josephine Knots for all that wish to make. They will require #6 round and a partner to help.

Due to winter weather, our February meeting was canceled. The remainder of our March meeting, JoAnn lead the guild in making the small twill heart basket, which also was a free pattern from Joanna’s Collection.

No New Business. Meeting adjourned.
