Basket Weaving Ideas

I noticed on the blog that ideas for baskets will be discussed at the next meeting. I encourage those with  Facebook to join "Facebook Basket Weavers; basketry, gourd weaving & more!"  You will never be lacking for ideas again.

The posts are from people world wide. Currently my favorite baskets are from the Seifen & Korbe website, which are woven in the Styrian Peasant tradition. He weaves with over 100 different grasses and herbs.

Grasses, moss and seashells
Lavender
Marigold

Since we can't gather lavender to weave, I want to point out, there are also many, many baskets similar to the ones we have woven.
Remember when we wove these? How cool they look woven in plaids!

Or in pretty colors....
I am telling you! Join!
You won't believe what some people can do with magazine pages!
