Minutes of October 3rd,2013 meeting:

Sue called meeting to order at 6:05 pm. There were no changes to the secretary's report from the blog.
Patti gave the treasurer's report. We currently have $365.49 in our account.
We have a new member that Judy asked to join our guild.  Her name is Nicole and lives in Green Lake. Contact info for Nicole will be emailed to members.  Welcome to the guild, Nicole!
We also have one change to the membership contact list,  Patti W's corrected email address was emailed to members.
An idea was discussed as to how we could encourage members to take leadership roles in the group.  Sue brought up the idea that if you held an office, you wouldn't have to pay dues.

In old business, we discussed the Fall Weave. It was decided not to have a Saturday Weave because there just isn't time to put one together.  The "Ode to Joy"basket will be taught in two months, March and April.

For new business, we began gathering information for the Spring Weave.  We are looking at the last 2 Saturdays in March, the 22nd and the 29th. Sue will contact the Ripon Library to see about availability.  Members are to bring basket ideas to the next meeting. You wouldn't necessarily have to teach the weave, just find a pattern that you would like to try.

The November basket, "Santa's Pants"is being led by Jo Ann.  If you need the finishing materials, please contact Jo Ann as soon as possible.
Dawn moved to adjourn with Barb. E providing the second.
